Research Opportunities in Computer Science
(ROCS)

Thank you all for Rocking participation!!

ROCS (pronounced as ROCKS) is a ACM India initiative to expose undergraduate students in (mainly aspiring) colleges to exciting research happening in the country in various areas of computer science. The hope is to inspire at least a few of them to choose a career in research in industry or academics. It is a one day event, typically on a Saturday with 4-5 talks on multiple areas of computer science. It also may have an interactive (”Ask me Anything”) session to discuss questions from the participants, talks outlining entry procedures in various institutions, and a panel discussion among the speakers.

We invite undergraduate students in their pre-final / final years and postgraduate students from computer science, mathematics and related programs to apply for participation in the workshop.
Registration covers lunch, snacks and a participation certificate. The steps of the registration process are

1. Go to the registration link below
2. Select the number of registrations you want (maximum: 5).
3. Enter your basic details as a "buyer" of registrations.
4. Enter the details of each registrant you are registering for.
5. Pay using any of the listed options

How to Reach IIIT Kottayam

For the convenience of ACM-ROCS participants, we will arrange pick-up and drop-off services to Pala, the nearest town, to ensure smooth transportation.
